Cancellation Policy for TryWilder services

Overview

This Cancellation Policy outlines the terms and conditions for cancellation of subscriptions and services provided by TryWilder, our social media content creation and scheduling platform.

Subscription Cancellation

You may cancel your TryWilder subscription at any time. When you cancel:

  • Your account will remain active until the end of your current billing period
  • You will not be charged for subsequent billing periods
  • You will retain access to all features until the end of your paid period
  • Any scheduled posts that are set to publish after your subscription ends will remain in your queue but will not be published unless you reactivate your subscription

Cancellation Methods

Dashboard Cancellation

The simplest way to cancel your subscription is through your account dashboard:

  1. Log in to your TryWilder account
  2. Navigate to "Account Settings" → "Subscription"
  3. Click on the "Cancel Subscription" button
  4. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the cancellation process

Email Cancellation

To cancel via email, please:

  1. Send a cancellation request to support@trywilder.com
  2. Include your account email address and company name (if applicable)
  3. Specify the reason for cancellation (optional but appreciated)
  4. Our team will process your request and send confirmation within 2 business days

Data Retention After Cancellation

After cancellation:

  • Your account data will be retained for 30 days after your subscription ends
  • Draft posts and social media connections will be preserved during this period
  • Analytics data will remain accessible if you reactivate within the 30-day window
  • After 30 days, your data may be permanently deleted in accordance with our data retention policies

Account Deletion

Cancelling your subscription is not the same as deleting your account. If you wish to completely delete your account and all associated data:

  1. First, cancel your subscription following the steps above
  2. Then navigate to "Account Settings" → "Privacy"
  3. Select "Delete Account" and follow the confirmation process

Please note that account deletion is permanent and cannot be reversed.

Enterprise Accounts

For enterprise customers with custom contracts, please refer to the specific cancellation terms outlined in your service agreement or contact your account manager directly.

Community Edition

As the Community Edition is self-hosted and does not include a paid subscription, no cancellation is required. You may stop using the software at any time according to the terms of the Community Edition license.
